Seven Tips for Using the Stun Master Stun Gun

Know your weapon!  The Stun Master Stun Gun is one of the most popular stunners on the market, with two distinct styles and three voltage strengths. The compact 4 ½ inch straight shot stunner delivers 100K volts and runs on a simple nine volt battery. You can also opt for the stronger 300K volts model which is 6 inches tall and runs off of two batteries. Alternately you can get the crook-neck model, which fits more easily in the hand. These can be obtained in either the 100K, 200K or 300K voltage levels, and range from 6 to 6 ½ inches tall.

Understand how a stun gun works. The Stun Master Stun Gun is a highly reliable weapon that is non-lethal and doesn’t rely on pain for results. Rather, it delivers a high voltage, low amperage electrical current to temporarily disable a would be assailant. The stunner sends the neuromuscular system into over-drive, putting the muscles through an intense, extremely rapid ‘workout’ and exhausting them to the point that the attacker is effectively paralyzed for several moments.

Don’t be afraid, either for yourself or of doing excessive harm to another. The odds of actually killing someone with a Stun Master Stun Gun are virtually zero, and you needn’t fear being shocked if your attacker falls against you on his way to the floor either - the current will NOT pass to your body!

"Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American ... the unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."

Keep it charged. Make sure you always have fresh, full strength batteries in your stun gun, and check them regularly with a battery tester to ensure they are retaining a charge. Remember to replace old batteries with new ones after the stunning device is discharged for optimum performance.

A threat is only as good as your willingness to make good on it. Don’t threaten someone with a stun gun - that isn’t what it is for! Use it when needed, and if you don’t intend to use it don’t even get it out. A stun gun is not a toy, and shouldn’t be treated like one. The Stun Master Stun Gun is a high quality self defense tool, and should be handled with respect.

Don’t rely on any weapon as a sole form of self protection. Use common sense and avoid putting yourself in positions where you are forced to defend yourself. Keeping out of trouble in the first place is much simpler than getting out of it! Watch the people around you and be alert for signs of trouble. If a situation goes south, act swiftly and decisively.

If you end up in a situation where you are forced to use your Stun Master Stun Gun, do so without hesitation. Immobilize your attacker and the RUN FOR HELP. DO not attempt to apprehend or hold a subject hostage until help arrives. A stun gun is intended to buy you time to escape, and your safety is the first priority.

Following these simple rules should make owning a Stun Master Stun Gun a safe, rewarding experience.
